Looking to upgrade your aging Sonos speaker this holiday season? Existing owners can grab a discount on a brand-new device.

Sonos’ Upgrade Program offers up to 30% off new speakers for those who own older Sonos speakers, but you don’t have to send in old devices to get the deal. This is a step up from Sonos’ existing Trade Up offer, which was criticized as environmentally unfriendly because Sonos was reportedly throwing out older speakers that people traded in when they could’ve been resold.

Which Sonos Devices Are Eligible?

Here are the devices included in the Upgrade Program and how much of a discount you can get:

  • Play:1 (2013) – 15%
  • Play:3 (2011) – 15%
  • Play:5 (Gen 1, 2009) – 30%
  • Connect:Amp (2005) – 30%
  • Connect (2006) – 30%
  • CR200 (2009) – 30%
  • Play:5 GEN 2 (2015) – 15%
  • Playbar (2013) – 15%
  • Playbase (2017) – 15%
  • Bridge, BR100 (2007) – 30% off on one Boost product only.

To claim a discount, sign in to your Sonos account, click the System tab, and view the list of eligible products. Navigate to the Upgrade tab and follow the steps listed under each qualifying product. Customers can continue to use their older speakers while also claiming a discount on a newer one, though this offer applies only to qualifying products that have not previously been upgraded with a discount credit.

Sonos today also announced that the Sonos Arc now supports multi-channel LPCM, an uncompressed audio format, The Verge reports.
